Our ECL biosensor is capable of detection a variety of pathogenic bacteria and metabolic toxins. These major categories of food-borne harmful substances include many types, such as:

Salmonella: high survival abilities, size of 2~4 micrometers, a group of pathogenic bacteria that causes gastrointestinal illness and fever

S. Aureus: a grape shaped pathogenic bacteria that favors aerobic environments and causes a wide variety of clinical diseases

E.Coli: Extremely common gut disease, infection in numbers of dozens

Campylobacter jejuni: highly antibiotic resistant, hard to be cultured

Cholera: Common bacteria in water and areas lacking sanitation, leads to production of diarrhea-causing toxins

Vibrio Parahaenolyticus: Located in the ocean, first infects the food and then infects the consumers, dissolves human blood corpuscles

Clostridium Botulinum: distributed around marine environments, common in improperly heated can food

Shigella Spp.: naturally exist in human gut, requires norfloxacin to tackle the bacterial infection

Aflatoxin B1: One of the most common metabolic toxins existent in a variety of food products and agricultural crops, especially peanuts and corn
